Pakistan Air Force Placed on High Alert

Pakistani Media is reporting that Pakistan government has placed Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on a high alert after the US drone attack which resulted in loss of high number of innocent life in FATA.

In response of US drone attack, Pakistan has decided not to participate in the trilateral meeting between the United States, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Pakistan Air Force has been asked to intensify the air patrols over Pakistan’s northwestern tribal regions after a US drone strike in North Waziristan resulted in the deaths of over 40 civilians.


In response to this request by the government of Pakistan, Pakistan Air Force has cancelled the holidays of its employees in order to increase the level of security of the airspace of the Pakistan.

PAF has cancelled the weekend holidays of all officers and other staff. Spokesperson of the Pakistan Air Force has so far declined to confirm or deny the reports that government of Pakistan has placed PAF on high alert.
