Pak Army has stated the 2nd phase of the reconstruction efforts in the areas which were hit last year by the flood in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In the first phase Pakistan army has already completed 200 schools to restart the process o education, over 900 homes for the homeless people in the area and 35 hospitals in the area of Nowshera and Charsadda districts.
In the Nowshera District, Pakistan army has completed 800 houses, 55 schools and 10 hospitals in record time. Commander Engineering Corps Brig Ikhlaq informed the local media about the progress made by the Pakistan army.
Pakistan army started its rescue and relief operation in the area under the name of operation ‘Labbaik’ on August 1, 2010 in order to help the people of Pakistan in the flood affected areas under the directions of the Gen Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani and Corps Commander Peshawar Lt Gen Asif Yasin Malik.
