JF-17 Thunder and F-16 fighter jet of the Pakistan Air Force has reached Turkey to participating in the 100th Anniversary Activities of Turkish Air Force.Pakistani fighter jets will take part in the Izmir International Air Show to celebrate the 100 Years of Turkish Air Force.
Pakistan Military Review has reported earlier that Pakistan will attend the 100th anniversary ceremony of the Turkish Air Force on June 4-5 by sending JF-17 and F-16 fighter jets.
Pakistan Air Force has recently signed a contract for the production of second batch of 250 JF-17 Thunder fighter jets with China. Pakistan plans to replace its old fighter jets with over 250 Thunders.
Turkey is in process of providing Mid Life Update to Pakistani F-16 A/B Block 15 aircrafts to bring them to the same stander as latest F-16 C/D Block 52+ fighter jets.
Two C-130s and One IL-78P MRTT will be used by the Pakistan air force to support deployment of the JF-17 and F-16s in Turkey.
