Pakistan Navy and Turkish Navy take part in the naval exercise, Deniz Aslan-II (Sea Lion). Three warships of the Pakistan Navy and a submarine are taking part in the exercise along with the four visiting warships of the Turkish Navy.
In first phase of the Deniz Aslan-II exercise warships from both countries will conduct anti-submarine, anti-surface and anti-air warfare exercises to enhance they capabilities and learn from the experience of each other.
Second half of this naval exercise will include a seminar on tactics, procedures and communication drills. Both navies take an active part in the international efforts to end the threat of piracy by actively patrolling the international seas.
