Joint Investigation Team to Probe ISAF Attack on Pakistani Security CheckPost

The Long March: Building an Afghan National Army

After repeated demands by the Pakistan to setup a joint investigation team to fix the responsibility of cross border attacks by the ISAF which killed Pakistani troops and destroyed the security check post which was established to stop Afghan Talibans from crossing into Pakistan.

Joint Investigation team of Pakistan and International Security Assistance Force (Isaf) has started the investigation into the ISAF attack on Pakistani check Post in Angoor Adda in South Waziristan Agency.

Four Pakistani troops were killed and many other suffered injuries in an attack on the post by the ISAF and Afghan National Army.

ISAF and Afghan National Army fired over 65 mortar shells at the Pakistani security check post which resulted in the destruction the important check post which was essential in stopping the cross border attacks by Afghan Taliban.
