Pakistani media has reported that that Indian military helicopter was forced to land at the Ghurmang after it violated Pakistani airspace near the Line of Control in Kargil sector in Gilgit-Baltistan.

DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major Gen. Athar Abbas has confirmed that Pakistani security forces has also taken the crew of the Indian helicopter into custody by after the Indian military helicopter was forced to land near Olding, Pakistan.

It is yet not clear why Indian military helicopter violated Pakistani airspace new the LOC The Line of Control (LOC) is a control line between the Indian- and Pakistani-controlled parts of the Kashmir.

Update: 

Pakistani media is reporting that Indian military helicopter may have lost its way and drifted into Pakistani air space due to bad weather in the area  and was forced to landed at Ghurmang in Pakistan.

Indian Cheetah (SA 315B Lama) military helicopter was on its way to the Kargil  from Leh when it lost direction.  Crew of the Indian helicopter will be debriefed to establish if this was indeed none hostile intent which lead to the violation of the Pakistani air space. If none hostile intent is established, Indian crew may be allowed to go back home soon.

DG Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major Gen. Athar Abbas  has said, “The helicopter had come deep into our airspace. It was forced to land. Four Indian army officers have been taken into safe custody. They are safe.”
