Pakistan’s Nuclear Program in Not Safe Under President Zardari: Shah Mehmood Qureshi

Pakistan's former Foreign Minister and member of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf member Shah Mehmood Qureshi has once again said that Pakistani atomic programme was endangered by someone in the federal government. He said that he is talking about the physical security of nuclear assets like the western reports.

He said , “At the outset let me set the record straight I had said in Ghotki that “I have fears that under President Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan’s nuclear program in not safe.”
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that as a former foreign minister of Pakistan his has knowledge of the safety protocols as well as the knowledge about the command and control structure which was designed to protect the nuclear assets of Pakistan.

He said that  memogate scandal which talks about the  “retooling of our nuclear program” is just another indication that there are some authorities which are enduring the Pakistani nuclear assets.
