PNS Azmat Fast Attack Missile Craft (FAMC) Leaves Indonesia

Pakistan Navy’s newly commissioned fast attack craft, PNS Azmat, has left the Sebang Naval base, Indonesia, the embassy has said.

 The craft started its voyage home from China in April and passing through different countries including Malaysia and Indonesia, the warship will reach Pakistan shortly.PNS Azmat is the first of Azmat class fast attack craft (missile).

 The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art weapons and sensors, including surface-to-surface missiles and has stealth features. Defence Attache, Pakistan Embassy, Indonesia, Col Umer, Base Commander, Sebang, Col Dodi and other Indonesian Naval Officers, welcomed the craft being led by Commander Ahmad Hussain. The welcoming ceremony featured a tradtional dance performance. 

Both sides regarded anchroing of PNS Azmat at Sebang as another chapter in the history of friendly exchanges between the two countries.
