Pakistan Inducts Indigenous Armed And Surveillance Drones

Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force has inducted into service Burraq Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV) and Shahpar Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) systems.


Army Chief, General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, Lieutenant General (Retd) Khalid Ahmed Kidwai, Director General Strategic Plans Division and senior officials of Pakistan Army, Air Force and Navy were also present during the ceremony.

Burraq Unmanned Combat Air Vehicle (UCAV)  indigenously developed by the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM).

Shahpar Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV)   indigenously developed by the Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS)
