Pakistan Looking at Three Option to buy Stealth Aircrafts Including F-35

Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman has said that Pakistan Air Force is in talks with American aircraft maker Lockheed Martin for F-35 Lightning II. He said wtaht PAF is looking at three different option to purchase  fifth-generation stealth jet fighter.

  1. I wonder if three 5th-Gen options also means three different supplier-nations.

    USA for the F-35 option, even back in the Musharraf era there was interest in the F-35. Given how existing orders from backer-nations like Canada were reduced, the US might be willing to sell - but do we really want these?

    Then there's China, with their J-31 and J-20(heavy) projects. I wonder if the third option we're looking at is Russian(Sukhoi T-50), or perhaps they just meant we're looking at both the Chinese options...
