Pakistani Peacekeeping Contingent Gets UN Medals

Pakistani Peacekeeping Contingent was given UN Medals for their excellent performance in United Nations Stabilization Mission in Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO). Special Representative to the Secretary General (SRSG) Mr. Roger A Meece was also present at this moment.

Mr. Roger A Mecce cherished the Pakistani peacekeepers for their dedication to peace and gave 3500 Pakistani peacekeepers UN Medal. Mr. Roger A Mecce also shed some light at the significant contributions made by the Pakistani Peacekeeping Contingent in Congo.

He said that devotion and loyalty of the Pakistani Peacekeeping Contingent to the cause of bringing peace in Congo has made MONUSCO proud of them.Ceremony for this was held at Bukavu in South Kivu province.
