Pakistan Navy has inducted two small tanker-cum-utility-ships STUS and frigate, PNS Alamgir into its Naval Fleet.
Ceremony for the induction was held at dthe Pakistan Navy Dockyard and Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Noman Bashir was the chief guest. Officials from the Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works were also present at this ceremony.
Two Small Tanker Cum Utility Ships (STUS) are Madadgar and Rasadgar and they were locally produced by the Karachi Shipyard & Engineering Works.
Frigate PNS Alamagir is the former USS McInereney (Oliver Hazard Perry Class guided-missile Frigate) which was provided to Pakistan Navy in aid by the United States of America.
