Pakistani Officers & Soldiers Are Best Professionals: UNAMID
Pakistani Peace Keepers have developed "Mournei Team Site" in Darfur working as part of the UNsecurity force under the adverse security environment harsh terrain. Force Commander United Nations Mission in Darfar (UNAMID), Lieutenant General Patrick Nyamvumba has praised the efforts of the Pakistani peace keepers by saying,
He added that development of "Mournei Team Site" was very challenging task and Engineers of the Pakistan Army completed it with exceptional speed.
"Pakistani officers and soldiers are the best professionals".
Pakistan Army Engineers were given the challenge of improving the road in Mournei Town where security situation can at best be described as adverse. As a sign of goodwill, Pakistanis worked hard and completed the task despite numerous challenges.
Pakistani security forces has always been at the forefront in United Nation approved peacekeeping missions to support peace and stability around the world.

NATO Should Eliminate Terrorist Safe Havens In Afghanistan: Pakistan
Commander of the military operations in the northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Lieutenant General Asif Yasin Malik has asked US and NATO forces in Afghanistan to act against safe havens of the terror groups in Afghanistan.
Pakistani General said that Pakistan Army will keep fighting against the terrorist groups in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa until the complete security of the common people is can be ensured.
Pakistan Army Integrating Snipers In Its Units
Pakistan army is now integrating snipers into its regular units after the successful employment of the snipers by the Pakistani Special Services Group (SSG) and few regular army units in FATA.
Pakistan Army has started a Sniper course which is specially designed to train the officers and Non commissioned officers of the army as snipers.
Bring Positive Change In FATA: Pakistan Army
Pakistan Army is involving the local tribesman of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) to bring a positive change in the area and help the poor in the area.
Purpose of this effort is to helpout the tribes where education and economy is badly hampered due to the militant attacks and recent operation by the Pakistan Army to clear the area from the Taliban militants.
Pakistan Army has launched this welfare operation to create a positive image in the minds and hearts of the local tribes. Such an image is essential for future resistance to counter the Taliban assaults and creation of local lashkars to fight militants.
These Lashkars consists of local tribesmen which are now challenging the Taliban militants threatening to overrun their area with each lashkar consisting of hundreds or several thousand volunteers.

Fast Attack Missile Craft (FAMC) Launched in Karachi
Karachi Shipyard and Engineering Works (KSEW) has launched Fast Attack Missile Craft (FAMC) for Pakistan Navy with the transfer of technology from the Chinese company 'China Shipbuilding and Offshore Company (CSOC) (Pvt) Limited.
Chief of Staff PN, Vice Admiral Tayyab Ali Dogar has said, "We hope to complete the project of the 'Attack Craft' with missile carrier by April next year. It is historic occasion for the country and Pakistan Navy for collaboration with the Chinese brothers on this project." First Fast Attack Missile Craft (FAMC) will arrive in Pakistan in April next year and second missile craft will join PN before the end of 2012.

Pak-China Joint Military Exercise YOUYI-IV to be Held Next Month
JF-17 Thunder To Take Part in Dubi Air Show
President of the China Aviation Technology Import-Export Corporation (CATIC) Ma Zhiping has confirmed that the JF-17 Thunder will participate at Dubai air show from 13-17 November 2011.
CATIC president Ma Zhiping also said that at the Paris Air Show, CATIC had meetings with ten potentional customers Africa, the Middle East and Asia. He said that Pakistani air force count send their JF-17 Thunders to the Paris airshow due to unstable political situation in the country.
He said that many of the potential JF-17 Thunder customers already test flown the aircraft. The JF-17 Thunder is jointly developed by the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC)Pakistan and China Aviation Technology Import-Export Corporation (CATIC).
Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is looking to purchase over 250 JF-17s to replace its Nanchang A-5, Chengdu F-7P / PG and Dassault Mirage III / V fighter aircrafts.

K-8 Karakorum Fighter Jet Trainer with Rocket & Gun Pods
K-8 Karakorum fighter jet trainer aircraft has been jointly developed by Hongdu Aviation Industry Group (HAIG) and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) in order to replace the old jet trainers in service in both countries.
Pakistani Air Force is replacing the its ageing T-37 fighter jet trainers with new build K-8 Karakorum and Chinese Air Force has also purchase some 400 jet trainer as JL-8 (JiaoLian-8).
Heavy Water Leakage @ Karachi Nuclear Power Plant
Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission declared 7 hour emergency at the Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (KANUPP) after the leak was discovered in the in the primary heat transport system of the nuclear power station.
PAEC has informed the media that "minor heavy water leakage" was discovered during a "maintenance job" on October 19 and standard emergency procedures were followed and "emergency was terminated" at the nuclear power station after leakage was controlled.
India To Create Amphibious Formation
Indian Army has formed a Reorganized Amphibious Formation (RAMFOR) which will be able to launch offensive operations on the enemy shores. In first phase, Indian Army has converted its 54th Infantry Division which has strength of over 10,000 soldiers for the amphibious operations.

Modernization of Al-Khalid Main Battle Tank (MBT)
Oleh Shevchenko, Chargé d'affaires Embassy of Ukraine has informed the media that Ukrainian companies will takepart in the modernization project of the Al-Khalid main battle tank (MBT) of the Pakistan Army.

Pakistan Revises Nuclear Export Control Act
Pakistan has issued a revised its Export Control Act on Goods, Technologies, Material and Equipment which are related to the nuclear and biological weapons and delivery systems for them.
Purpose of this revised legislation is to address concerns of proliferation of sensitive technologies, nuclear material and their delivery systems.
Pakistani Mirage-V Fighter Jet Crashes in Balochistan
A Mirage-V fighter jet of the Pakistan Air Force has crashed during a routine operational training mission near the mountainous area in Uthal area of Lasbela district in the southwestern Balochistan province.
Fighter pilot, Mohammad Asim Paracha who has been recently promoted to the rank of Wing commander (Wg Cdr) was not able to survive the crash and embraced Shahadat.
