Targeted attacks by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets has resulted in the death of 38 hardcore militants in the Jogi area of central Kurram Agency.

The fighter jets of the Pakistan Air Force were used to attack 3 hideouts of the Taliban commanders Mulla Toofan and Moeenuddin in the Jogi mountainous area of Kurram Agency,  Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) of Pakistan. This attack killed atleast 18 Taliban militants which included 6 Uzbek nationals.

Pakistan Army had secured this area from the militants last week but local and foreign Taliban militants are still attacking the Pakistani security forces in an effort to gain back the control of the area.. Another 20 militants were killed in PAF attacks in the Orakzai Agency where the hideouts of the militants were targeted.
