Under this proposed deal C-130 B/E Hercules of the Pakistan Air Force will receives avionics, engine management and mechanical upgrades as well as cargo delivery system installation, and replacement of outer wing sets on six of the C-130 Hercules turboprop military transport aircraft.<br />

Pakistan Air Force's C-130 aircrafts are being used to air-lift the essential food supplies for the people stuck in the drought stricken areas of Tharparker.</div>

Over 2000 soldiers, 14 transport helicopters of the Pakistan Army Aviation Corp and 2 C-130 transport aircraft of Pakistan Air Force are participating in relief work in Awaran. Transport helicopters has flown over 134 sorties to affected areas for transportation of relief items including 962 tons rations and 370 tons of relief goods.</div>

These upgraded Mirage-III Rose-I will allow PAF’s pilots to have active air to air refueling with the IL-78P. Indian Air Force Receives its First C-130J “Super Hercules” Transport Aircraft

<div style="text-align: justify;">Lockheed Martin has delivered the first C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft to the Indian air force. India had signed a contract for 6 C-130J Super Hercules aircrafts with an option for another 6 to be decided later on.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br>
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">IAF’s C-130J Super Hercules will be displayed in the Aero India air show next year. India is likely to use the option for six additional C-130J Super Hercules military transport aircraft. IAF’s second Super Hercules will be delivered in February next year while remaining aircrafts will arrive in India later part of next year.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br>
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">DSCA sent the notice for the FMS of six C-130J transporters at cost of $1,059 million to the IAF in may 2007. Indian air force will use these aircrafts for the airdrops the equipment and troops while flying at very low altitude in all weather conditions.</div>
