Military leadership of the Pakistan, Turkey and Afghanistan have signed an MoU to conduct joint military drills and training.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Pakistan's Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani, General Necdet Ozal, Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces and General Shah Muhammad Kairimi, Chief of Army Staff of the Afghan National Army.
The MoU was signed at the trilateral meeting which was hosted by Turkish President Abdullah Gul in Istanbul.
