A Mirage fighter aircraft of the Pakistan Air Force has crashed near Jhang in Punjab on Tuesday. Aircraft took off from the PAF Rafiqi airbase for a training mission.

Fighter Pilot in control of the Mirage aircraft, Amad was able to eject from the aircraft safely.


Inquiry is already underway to determine the cause of the crash. Pakistan Air Force is already looking to replace the 30 to 40 years old Mirage fighter jets with the locally developed JF-17 Thunder fighter jets.
