DRDO's Astra Beyond-Visual-Range Air-to-Air Missile failed to meet its test objectives in a recent flight test by the DRDO. India plans to conduct additional tests over next few days. Missile is being developed for the Indian air force which plans to integrate them on its fleet of SU-30MKI, Upgraded MiG-29s and Light Combat Aircraft Teja.
