Crew of the Merchant Vessel Suez was transferred to F-22P PNS Zulfiqar frigate from the PNS Babur on Monday evening.
Pakistan navy sent the F-22P PNS Zulfiqar frigate for the mission “Operation Umeed-i-Nau” which was designed to rescue and bring the of the crew of the MV Suez back to Pakistan.
F-22P PNS Zulfiqar frigate will ensure the safety of the crew of MV Suez and and it will allow PNS Babur to get back to its original mission of coalition patrolling in the Gulf of Aden.
PNS Zulfiqar is under directive from the Chief of Naval Staff Noman Bashir briefed Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani will bring the crew of MV Suez straight back to Karachi, Pakistan.
